Refund Policy

1. Merchant of Record

CareerMinted sells non-tangible, digital PDF files. All payments and refunds are handled and processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, in accordance with their Terms of Service. The following policy outlines the specific circumstances under which we will authorize Lemon Squeezy to issue a refund on our behalf.

2. For Consumers in the EU (Right of Withdrawal)

Notice to European Union Customers: You normally have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by requesting the immediate generation and download of your personalized PDF resume, you expressly agree that we may begin providing the service before the 14-day period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital product is fully delivered/downloaded.

3. Exceptions for Refunds

While generally non-refundable, we authorize refunds under these specific conditions:

• Technical Failure: If a verifiable technical error on our part prevents your PDF from being generated or downloaded, and our support team cannot resolve the issue within 5 business days.
• Defective Product: If the delivered PDF is materially defective, corrupted, or does not match the product description (e.g., incorrect template layout, unreadable content).
• Duplicate Charge: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same resume due to a payment processing error.

4. Non-Qualifying Reasons

We do not grant refunds for:

• "I didn't get the job" (We provide the tool, not employment).
• "I don't like the design" (Please use our free preview tool before purchasing).
• "I made a typo" (You can edit your data and regenerate the preview before final purchase).

5. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests are managed through our payment processor. To initiate a request:

1. Contact Lemon Squeezy Support directly through your receipt email, OR email us at support@careerminted.com.
2. Provide your Order ID and a description of the issue.

We will review your request and, if it qualifies under this policy, authorize the refund processing.
