1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CareerMinted (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service & ATS Disclaimer

CareerMinted is a SaaS platform allowing users to format and download professional resumes. While we market our templates as "ATS-Optimized," this describes our design methodology (standard fonts, minimal graphics, single-column layouts). We do not guarantee compatibility with every Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software, nor do we guarantee job interviews or employment.

3. Payments

Our service operates on a pay-per-download basis. There are no recurring monthly subscriptions. Prices are displayed at checkout. All financial transactions are conducted by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.

4. Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain full ownership of the personal data and text you enter into your resume.
• Our IP: All CareerMinted visual designs, user interfaces, template layouts, code, and compilation of content are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or reproduce our template code for use in a competing product.

5. AI-Powered Services

The Service offers optional features powered by Google Gemini ("AI Features"). By using these features, you agree that:

• Data Sharing: Your text will be transmitted to third-party providers for processing.
• No Guarantee: AI outputs are computer-generated suggestions. We do not guarantee their accuracy or effectiveness. You are responsible for reviewing all final content.
• Prohibited Use: You may not use AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareerMinted shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to CareerMinted in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or matters which cannot be excluded by law.

7. Termination & Modifications

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Service for violations of these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration rather than in court, with the seat of arbitration being London, UK.
